Texas, the really flat part | California’s grid problems are caused primarily by climate change. Extraordinarily high temperatures and drought are the drivers. Texas is having similar problems due to catastrophic weather events. Stop trying to make this a lib/con issue because it isn’t.
Remember too, the grid isn’t running at max capacity very often. In fact nationwide electricity demand has been rather static far a good while due to big efficiency improvements in lighting, heating and cooling.
Looks like consumer reports has determined that EV’s can save folks significant $.
