Using the atmosphere to dump ever increasing amounts of greenhouse gasses won’t have consequences. I think you’re dead wrong. Besides, Tesla is selling all the vehicles they can crank out now, with no federal tax credit because the operation costs and performance both kick ice vehicles in the slats.
Ugh. Nothing performance about a 4000# car. And they don't make any sound, and thats half the fun :)
Andddddd, since I dont own a Tesla M3P I thought I'd learn about it from someone who does. Someone who took it to Silverstone and cracked the whip. Here's the list of 'cons' from the pro/con list
Cons:
- Reduced performance after just 3 or 4 laps. I started losing 10-20mph on the straight after around 10 minutes.
- No decent charging infrastructure on site meant two 40 min round trips to a Supercharger
- Two 10-15 minute sessions before needing to go and charge
The rest of the text confirms my suspicions about EVs and performance. And my opinion that a, say, mid 90s Corvette could stomp it. |
