I'm not trying to overdo it (panic buy) but there's nothing wrong with getting ownership of a % of input with some of the real stories of why prices are up. Closed production plants, logistical nightmares, etc. Tough break, but prices will be higher.
Probably the smartest thing I did in 2020 was put down 3 years of potash on every acre and I've adjusted my manure plan to cover more acres to take care of P needs. But some stuff you just can't go without. | |
