| Except buying doesn't always work out quite like that but fair point. In hindsight I will admit that I looked at the situation and knew I could invest in fertilizer or chemical infrastructure and went the fertilizer route because of cost per acre (risk looked larger). With my manure situation, I think I would've been better off investing in a sprayer and chemical storage instead. That said, I own 1/3 of next year's UAN at last year's price. Hard to beat that. | |
