That's almost monthly. Do you have your own room in the hospital or at least a first name basis with all the nurses?
First name basis with nurses. I have a favorite floor in the hospital and I have my doctors personal cell phone number. If I need something I call or text him. It's usually every couple of months but sometimes I can have 3 procedures during one stay. Thankfully they don't have to open me up. It did get to the point they couldn't get IV's started on me anymore so I now have a chest port. I estimate I've been poked over 300 times for IV's and that was in a 8 year period. I've had the port for 5 years.

did you do anything coming out of anesthesia?
