| Just part of being in business. I usually play it be ear be honest tell them what happened, why it happened and what failed first if you can diagnose it.
Customers are usually workable. Ask them what’s fair, tell them how much money you have in it and often they see it’s not your fault and will pick up part of the bill.
Depending on your customer if it an older person offer a free tire rotation and or half off an oil change. You will be out very little or no money at all and have a loyal customer for life.
