I expect to pay our accountant over 800 this year. He is well worth it. We have a variety of forms, w2 income, k1, 1099, dividends, investments and depreciation schedules. This includes a pre planning appointment. I used Quicken for years. Print the report for profit and loss and bring the sum totals and all the years end forms like w2, 1099, etc.. Have since switched to Quickbooks but still print reports and bring in. You can use anything that totals such as a spreadsheet.
