Your accountant doesn’t want to see your recites.

My accountant has a form I fill out that has every category you need. Category for fertilizer, seed, w2 and so on.

No way would I do my own taxes. It’s to important to not get right.

Start a separate checking account for the farm and use it for everything you think the farm can write off.

Add the numbers up in December and have a pre tax meeting to decide which side of the calendar you want to push income and expenses.

Make sure you fill some of the cheap tax brackets every year.
