Central In | Concerning the vaccines: Two of them are newer territory. It is not brand new territory. I would say that some better response to the newer corona viruses like Sars2, Swine flu, and bird flus have had researchers working on new vaccine technology.
There are usually a small number of bad reactions to about any vaccine. That is to be expected. When the shots were made available to me [86 yrs.old], I opted for them. I can see why some much younger might delay and not jump right into the shot line.
Yes, it is standard knowledge that a vaccinated person might get LIGHTLY infected again, but the antibodies kick right in and the person doesn't even know hey are infected. Is this dangerous to others? I would think not as likely the load of viruses is very low...and I think the dose is critical to infection and the depth of infection.
How long will the immunity last...who knows, but I would guess an intermediate length....probably not as long as measles or polio, but longer than 3 months. | |
