Your market seems to be a bit more open to options and wild seasonal basis swings then up north.



Have a lot of options to deliver grain. 3 unit train loaders 40 miles from home, one with direct rail access into Mexico. 8 barge loaders 50 miles @ STL, used to have two ethanol plants @ STL to deliver to, but they are both shutdown @ present. Currently would be one heck of a corn bidding war @ STL if both plants where still operating.

There are 9 facilities @ STL that unload trains onto barges. Mind boggling how much train grain gets loaded onto barges @ STL now Vs 10 years ago.
