Wow, I am glad I do not have to call some of you for the USDA-NASS surveys if you respond as nasty as some of you sound in this post and other posts on this topic. It seems that it is a badge of courage to be mean and nasty to the enumerators. Granted, the calls may come at a poor time, but why be nasty about it.
I do not care if you complete the survey or not. Just be polite.
Just remember that some of the payments that are paid by the government are calculated from the results of some of these surveys.
I got 1 last Friday.
It had "Response is voluntary" about halfway down the page. I was going to throw it away until I saw it said something like "if we do not receive a completed survey, you will receive a phone call to schedule an appointment." I decided it would be less aggravation to fill it out than to be ducking phone calls. |
