Wife’s college roomate’s husband is a surgeon, does mainly gastric bypass. Last time we got together he asked me several times how much we get paid not to plant, I tried to explain there really wear’nt set aside anymore but he was sure there was. He went on to tell how much Medicaid paying for gastric bypass had helped his practice. To him farmers were government leaches but doctors were hard working selfless entrepreneurs.


Dixon , I think everybody see's the other professions as being better.... A couple we are friends with has friends who milks 300 cows and Dr.'s wife was telling us how theystruggled in dairy to kake a living .....She just about went into cardiac arrest when I told her that her friend's piece of paper (Canadian dairy quota) for 300 milkers is worth around $8 million ........
