Ahhh... You were talking about a tape machine in the OP, didn't realize you were now talking about something different. Out of curiosity, how much does a 30-bay enterprise server cost? I assume you wouldn't be able to re-use your existing drives for it very easily because you'd need to reformat them to work with the server?
Anyone buy a used storage server?
