 I don't have a answer for you. But this a opportunity for a test. Go out now and hand pick some ears that you feel is representative of the field,then hand shell the ears and weigh the kernels and correct for moisture. Then go out in the same spot when the corn reaches black layer and pick some ears and weigh the kernels and correct for moisture. That might give you a indication if the late rain was in time to add yield.
