I hear what you are saying, it sort of felt that way when I was in school as well being a non-sports person and there is no question sports is overrated. However, I have seen the local football program do some good things for several kids. Not every kid has the opportunity to grow up and work on a farm and the discipline they are subject to on a football team isn't all bad. | |
