NE ND | You really don't have to wait. It works like a grill and siooouch easier. Just dial up the temp you want, let it preheat for 10 -15 minutes and cook.
Burgers and chicken breasts are about 8 minutes a side at 400. My trager has meat thermometer built in so l grill for 8 minutes, flip, stick meat probe in, cook another 8 minutes or until temp is were I want. Best tasting food ever.
You get a little smoke doing it this way. But you can also do a brisket or pulled pork as an all day deal. Very easy to do brisket. Just set it and check once in awhile on filling the chips. | |
