NW in. | You don't recognize that the traders are protected by their contracts but the market repucussions are felt by the producers. The system is that the exporters work on a margin so they can get their cut no matter what it does to price. If you don't think the system is set up so their risk is minimal you have been living under a rock. The weight of price manipulation is felt by the producers. The cme and the grain conglomerates are pretty much insulated from price costing them anything but the volume they move . They handle most all the grain business in the world so they don't care where it comes from as long as they get their cut. | |
