The WSJ isn't wrong... but for some reason you think there isn't a cost involved for the Chinese to cancel contracts.... there is a significant cost ,,,, again,,,, you need to spend time learning about the modern international grain trade,,,,
The cost of cancellation is less than what the market moves after the cancellation.... so send us a check and we will send you the grain... my point is it costs the farmers more than anyone else in the end .... and someone needs to hold China accountable... you wouldn’t do business with a guy that operated that way down the road and either would I ... why do we allow China to do it to us |
