East central iowa
Not everyone from Illinois bitches and moans. Listening and hearing “fringe” acres and the “I” staters is getting old. Who gives a $hit who raises what and where. I could care less if North Dakota raises corn, they have there own set of problems up there, much like what we seen last year. They know the risks planting corn, it’s there choice. Constantly bashing Illinois for crying river is getting ridiculous, not everyone there bitches about everything. Same with Iowa.

I have figured out that anywhere you farm, has it’s own set of problems. For someone to think life is easy in “I” states it’s not. Why does everyone from these “fringe” acres think “I” states has 275 aph ground? We have good ground on our farm, and we also have blow sand and river bottoms as well.
