North West IA/western AZ | Ok I loosened the governor linkage and tried turning the shaft back and forth. I could lift the linkage up so I'm sure it was not stuck to the shaft. I could only get maybe 5° movement back and forth with the screwdriver on the governor shaft. I tightened it back up but got very little response with it running without reaching down and helping the governor linkage. Then if I idled it down it wouldn't come back to speed with the throttle.
I'm wondering if I even need a governor on a pressure washer. | |
