Hastings, NE | I am working on a Honda GX670 that repowered a John Deere 318. I have trouble with the carb acting like it will suddenly load up. It has gotten really bad lately. I took the carb off to clean it out. I didn't really find anything in it. The bowl was clean and so were the jets. Put it back together.
Engine runs but it won't throttle up now. It works if I manually run the carb just not with the throttle cable. I am kicking myself for not taking a photo of the linkage before I started taking things apart but got in a hurry. Any idea where to get the info to get back together right? I ordered a service manual but it won't get here until next week.
