NE WI | I have the 20HP GX620 on my bandmill. It runs like hammered crap. I have replaced the carb also without help. It always dies at the end of a cut unless the choke is pulled. California emissions ruined these
small engines. Mine is setup to use a manual throttle cable and choke cable. I would have to look how mine is setup again. I thought there is a linkage with a spring for the governor under the air cleaner. It’s been a while since I had it apart. There is also a diaphragm pump. Make sure the tubes feeding the pump are not cracked. I had to replace the pump and tubes on mine a while back.
