I'd second this motion,,and maybe amend it to say nothing wrong with a 7' sickle mower. On the Vermeer F, make sure you have a handful of the hubs it shears on that one drum. This is a good basic set of equipment, can always break up that amount of hay into 2 or 3 runs until you figure out the baler
