About half the time my wife and I had to walk single file , no big deal except she kept making lude comments about my butt . Or maybe I have that backwards. Anyway, the point is when walking single file, she'd have to stop to ask me "what's that?" walking side by side , we usually didn't have to stop.
With the roads 10 -12 ft wide , there is room for the stand-and-talkers, and the couples or trios walking side-by-side but throw in two lanes of golf cart, gator, mule,and ranger traffic and there's not hardly room for two way single file pedestrian traffic. Seriously , a couple of the privately owned rigs there were bigger than my s-10 pickup.
I would probably have a different perspective if I had been there alone instead of trying to enjoy the day with my wife . | |
