Lots of good ideas here. I especially like the hybrid one to overcome the torque band issue of a gas engine.

The problem with diesel going forward is that you can't refine diesel without also refining gasoline. If there is no demand for gas, such as what is being experienced currently, it causes diesel to be more expensive.
