Subject: RE: I GOT IT!! NMEA STRINGS INTO MY VERSA

My C099 F9P sent data to my Versa that was hardwired.
I used an Arduino shield and it was plug and play one I got my baud rates straight.

Cost looks to be $13 or so.

Wiring will be made neater before calling it finished.

Used a voltage regulator to drop the tractor voltage to 8 volts. Then this feeds into the v+ terminal which is supposed to be 5-12 volts. I didn't want high from alternator, battery charger or other to reach the ZED.

This was supposed to be my finished box, but it won't be tall enough for the ZED and Arduino shield mounted together.

So the entire setup is made up of the f9p board, the 232 shield, and a voltage regulator? Then it will output a standard NEMA message like any other ag receiver?
