    WC Mn/Dakotas | Great example of a "story" based almost entirely on emotions with almost zero details.  It's just grasping for anything to make a story.  The main detail being an 82 year old with a major underlying health condition died.  Big surprise there.    
  
Covid is not the regular flu, so it isnt going to happen in normal "flu season" either.  So comparing normal deaths in March isnt a very valid statistic.    
  
Is it a retirement community of nearly all 70+ year olds? Is it people 0-70 dieing?  Does it explain why Italians normally have a higher death rate from the regular flu than other parts of the world?  
  
If your a journalist, isn't there some responsibility to print facts?  There already is a section in papers titled "opinion" |  |
