-North Mo | Thanks for the suggestion, realizing have to change something as the past I kept everything spread out and used a lot of timber for calving thus wasn't much issue. Last couple years seems there is no running from this mud - no way to feed hay without creating issues. Maybe I've gotten my cows too docile - seems they've stopped going into the timber/remote areas to calve. There is advantages to the old girl that disappears from the herd for a couple days to calve - thus sometimes takes a week to show her calf - when he does show he's generally clean and healthy. | |
