My morning started the same, but no water or reason. Just dead after 3 healthy weeks
Have lost a great number in the creek over the years. Try to calve in high dry places when possible. Maybe even hot fence the creek out of your pair pasture, if the mommas don’t cross the creek, calves won’t go near it. Would be worth it.
