West Central IL | I have a 6 year old that was on and off sick all the time when winter hit. She's had her tonsils out for a while so no strep. She would be about half plugged up and coughing a lot. She'd go on antibiotics/flonase/claritin and sometimes it helped, but as soon as she was off the antibiotics back to sick. Dr then prescribed her singulair. She cleared up in about 2 days and as long as she's on it she has been fine. We actually weaned her off of it, but first sign of a cough we put her back on for a bit and it takes care of it. Dr said they've found that it help with respiratory issues as well as sinus problems. |
