Hahaha. The things they can come up with to stop ethanol use amaze me. I would be embarrassed to use some of their excuses.....but people will believe it. Ridiculous
The main reason for a consumer to not use it, is it's not cost effective. The slightly lower price is not worth the major hit in fuel economy.
What you just stated is WRONG and one of the misconceptions that people believe....it's cost per mile that counts, not mpg. With a slight reduction in mileage my cost per mile on E85 is less than regular crap gas. Plus performance is much better.....not to mention I'm supporting American farmers instead of foreign and the big oil conglomerates.
