East Central Nebraska | If in Europe, this is an awesome place to visit. http://www.remembermuseum.be/en . It is very close to the Henri-Chappele cemetery. This is only open on Sundays, unless you are in the U.S military or family member of a WWII Vet and make arrangements to visit. Their gratitude towards the American soldier is unbelievable. Been there twice and both times we had to go into their house and have belgium waffles and a beer. Last time I was their, a picture of a guy in the group we were with was hanging on the wall. So they had a few modern U.S. military pictures. He had no idea how it got there, but remembers getting that picture taken. | |
