NW Iowa | I've had a few companies stop by wanting me to sell seed. One smaller company the commission is 50 bucks per bag. However, they only have a cash discount and you have to dip out of that $50 per bag to get the price cheaper for the farmer. I believe most companies give you more money years 1-3 and after that it's the typical 15-25 bucks depending on your sales volume. It seems like a lot until you factor in equipment, fuel, freebees, and other behind the scene stuff you don't think about. | |
