Subject: RE: Investors?

Northern Illinois
I appreciate your initiative and good luck. I doubt anyone is going to give out how they go about getting an investor. If they have a way they are likely to keep it a secret. This is not a way to get an investor but some attempt to get tied in with a farm management firm. So that if a landowner goes to the farm management firm to manage their ground the person is known to the farm management firm. The downside of that is that the farm management firm is likely to want high cash rent. That will also be your issue with potential investors. The first thing they will ask you is what will their return on investment be. I assume Boone County is similar to northern Illinois in the fact that if you want to cash grain farm land is going to be expensive.
