If you calve 25 days later why wouldn't you sell 25 days later? If someone moves calving back 2 months just sell 2 months later. You wouldn't be giving up any pounds then. I don't know why cattle men get stuck in this mentality of "we always sell the [pick your favorite week]."
Actually probably wouldn't take the full 25 days at the end to make up for a slow start on poor years.
