You need to add the 1.65 to your bucks so you received 10.65 for your beans or more than last year. Corn is higher now than it was a year ago for new crop, and old crop is about the same.
I sold a third of my soybean crop with basis factored in at 9.85 last February. The rest probably averaged $8.00.....hmm. Wonder where the $1.65 number came from. Last year at this time corn carryout was the highest it's been in a while, this year it's the lowest since 2013/2014. But hey, we are all guaranteed 200 bushel corn right?
