| Herbie thats our concern as well with lots of acres of stalks untouched. Old junk disks are 30 k plus so this might just be our fall machine only and spring backup machine. Some guys are getting rid of disk rippers and going high speed tillage and just buying a in-line ripper for headlands. 30th crop for me and still learning. Many get stuck in the same old ways and never look outside the box. | |
