Maybe it is not just the corn market, but corn, beans and wheat market that hasn't extracted enough pain ?. Grain prices don't occur in a vacuum, they are all relative.
It is possible that you are right. For whatever reason wheat hit it's highs a lot earlier than corn and beans. I don't know why. I wouldn't be surprised if wheat has already hit it's lows for that reason. That being said, wheat is dead to me until price is closer to competitive with corn. I have not studied wheat charts in a long while. I grow it where I have to and price it in a fairly arbitrary manner since it is not a large percentage of my gross income.
