Much like a price much above 4.25 brings on a round of demand destruction that is easily out produced. Markets are dynamic of course but that is the setup we have currently.
What if ethanol goes away and is replaced by solar panels and wind energy hydroelectric and tidal energy and so on? Or even maybe the world gets on the nuclear bandwagon? Or maybe we finally develop fusion?
I happen to believe that lower line is our risk.
I'm not saying it's our risk this year. I'm just saying that I can't rule it out as a possibility sometime in the next 10 years.
All very possible. Hopefully probable. As energy gets cheaper and more efficient, the pool of people who can afford other things with their disposable income. Animal protein becomes more affordable. Markets are dynamic. Time will tell.
