Just treat her mom the way you want her to be treated, and hope to god she looks for a guy that treats her the same way. So many people I’ve known really follow in their parents footsteps, whether it’s good or bad. That being said if my wife knew me when I was 16 she would have hated my guts, that’s gotta be the absolute worst time of a guys life.
