C IL | Always seemed to me like farmboys with Christian values are a dime a dozen compared to gorgeous hardworking farm girls with Christian values. In HS the good ones probably have their head down working hard at home, or working to get to the next step.
Of my college buddies (5 engineers - 3MS and 1PhD - humble, hard workers, smart, good prospects) only one is married to a farm girl. One took a city girl to a dairy farm, one took a town girl to live in the country.
I’m sorry it turned out the way it did but better now than at prom. I guarantee you she is a rare commodity and should never settle. She will find someone out there with similar values who will cherish her forever. Might be in college.
I have two god-daughters and my buddy and I have already set the bar pretty high, and the oldest one is only 5. Plan is for her to be able to outwork, outshoot, and outhike all but the best of the best.
