What are the costs of production for the other inputs of a fat hog? Wager to say that feed is less than 50% of the cost of production in a modern hog set-up? I mean, these guys are paying $40/space just for the finishing end? At two turns a year, that's $20/head in building costs just for a fat hog? That don't include any cost for farrow to wean. Feed costs don't seem so out of line to me as compared to the other production costs associated.
