Primarily fly Southwest, but I do travel a lot and I have never seen anyone tip a flight attendant on SW. as a frequent flier, Southwest sends me little business card sized coupons that you are asked to give to employees that are providing great service or doing outstanding work, etc.... Apparently they get special recognition and some kind of pay boost or bonus
