Near-north Ontario, French River | This is getting blown way out of proportion. I saw the same story and it said that airlines are now ALLOWING stewardesses to accept personal tips from passengers. In the past they were prohibited from doing so. No one is saying that passengers are expected to tip, or only that now stewardesses are allowed to accept the tips. I very rarely fly anywhere so this won't apply to me at all but the way I see if it a steward/stewardess goes above and beyond 'normal' service than why shouldn't a passenger be able to tip them? |
