Here
Well I have a Ecoboost that if I drive it sensibly I have got 21MPG on a trip 75 mi. away and 75 mi. back. That's not what I care about. The average of the truck is on my trip B which I have never reset, It reads 15.5 MPG, that's life of vehicle, pulling a 30 ft. Camper, car trailer, driving it in all the crappy weather in the winter as our main 4x4. So I don't brag that I can get 21 mpg on a 50 mi. trip, What is the average? I get enough silverados in the garage to work on and see that they are not any better then a newer Dodge 5.7L or a Ford, especially a 5.0L Ford. I have a friend that would brag about his 6.2L chevy, but he says it is terrible compared to a 5.3L in his older truck.
