I wrote something else, but figured I’ll put it a much simpler way:

“How in God’s green earth are those two situations even remotely close?!”

I have yet to read anything here or otherwise on how to equal the trade gap. If IP is your stick in your bum, were those companies forced to give it up? No, that was voluntary. Maybe those companies giving up there IP can be the “patriot.”

But hey, Farmer Joe is too stupid to know that he is a political pawn in a chess match. And apparently Farmer Joe loves the role of being taken to the woodshed as long as he gets 1 year of protection.

Last May “China agreed to buy everything the American farmer can produce!” How are our exports looking so far this marketing year?

It’s the same ridiculous crap as “China will starve without our soybeans!” Really? Is that so? Does anyone actually believe that line?

I really start to question how many of you ate lead based paint chips as children.... maybe we didn’t learn about inflation and other Econ 101 basics. It just doesn’t make any sense.
