Survive? Sure, a percentage can. However, history tends to have a way of repeating itself.

How many guys in the late 70s/early 80s said before the collapse the same bs getting wrote on this forum? Some on here keep saying generic statements like “you had a chance at $10 earlier this year.” Well, no **** Sherlock, I took advantage of it too. It’s the following years that can and likely will create the issues....


Look at our trade deficit, it’s still growing even after the tariffs. Looks like we have them by the balls good and tight huh according to many on here? Or, the country is moving on with the same step and purchasing patterns and we (as farmers) take the pain for no reason.

I get it, some own a lot of ground free and clear, some we’re blessed to start in the ethanol era, and other just had it handed to them. However, all those in between will get left behind and they are a large chunk of the future of American agriculture, no?
