We have 4 units set up at this point and has been working flawless, doesn't take much data at all, if you kept running it 24/7 you would use 1gb/month, so most months for us it's been under half a gb per unit, and I couldn't answer the glonass receiver question, but in theory, the more satellites you can pick up the better it can triangulate the tractor etc...
