The desert of MN.
We have been vrt planting for 2 years now. Maps have been made off of yield maps and my dads 30 plus years of farming most of the ground. Been able to take zeros off the yield map and make them into 50s. Also able to push the "better" ground. We are EC Mn and farm on the Anoka sand plain. Minnesota's desert. low cec, low OM and low pH if not limed regularly. It will be very interesting how the om maps relate to the yield. I think for us it will be very close. If the smart firmer works I think we will start making more zones even more VRT fertilizer. Precision does pay!
