Combination of accurate zone sampling, realistic yield goals, crop nutrient response curves, and appropriate populations. I have a fertility specialist to do nearly all my recs, he has very complex algorithms for each nutrient based on crop responses. N from all applications, o.m. mineralization, and yield goal is the simple explanation.
This grower didnt want to sidedress, but was on board with vrt npk and addressing some micros in a good popup. So he is doing alot of things pretty well. Just need some tweaks here and there and work on better execution of the plan, like anyone. | |
